In Honor of Amara Mia Zeb’s 10th Birthday
Today, we honor and celebrate the life of Amara Mia Zeb on what would have been her 10th birthday.
Amara was born a micro-preemie, a tiny but incredibly strong soul who touched our lives in ways words can never fully capture. Though her time with us was only 5 ½ months, those months were filled with immeasurable love, strength, and moments that will forever be cherished.
As a mother, every second with her was a gift. Every breath, every touch, every milestone—no matter how small—was everything. Amara taught us resilience, unconditional love, and the depth of a bond that continues beyond this world.
Her presence transformed our lives and continues to do so through her legacy.
In her honor, Amara’s Butterflies Foundation was created to give back, to support children and families, and to ensure that her name lives on with purpose. Through ongoing contributions to Stony Brook Children’s Hospital and Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center, Amara’s light continues to reach others—just as she always has.
Butterflies became her symbol—appearing in the most unexpected ways, bringing comfort, hope, and a reminder that she is always near.
Today marks 10 years of love, 10 years of remembrance, and a lifetime of impact.
Amara Mia Zeb will forever be our angel—deeply loved, endlessly missed, and never forgotten
